One Wrong Choice by A.M. Hargrove & Terri E. Laine

Release Date: March 1st

Genre: Contemporary Romance

“The door isn’t the only divide between us. How is it possible for two people to only be friends when there is so much more we feel for each other?” ~Brandon

One Wrong Choice from A.M. Hargrove and Terrie E. Laine has burrowed deep inside of my heart where it will remain forever!  This beautiful, heart-wrenching novel is an emotional roller-coaster ride and oh what a joy it is to experience it!  I adore friends to lovers romance and this novel is a wonderful stand-out!  To be honest, One Wrong Choice is one of the best books in the friends to lovers genre that I have read in a long time.

This story about a wealthy, successful woman with A+ genes and an incredibly sexy, tatted up mechanic slayed me to the point where I was entranced, fascinated and straight up lured into One Wrong Choice‘s web from the first pages of the prologue!

One of my favorite aspects of this book is the way that the authors make the passionate attraction between Brandon and Jenna stand out from the get-go!  Brandon wants Jenna from the moment that he lays eyes on her and oh my GAWD I wanted him to have her!!!

He is so (insert expletive) sexy!!  This is an inked up god of a man that I wanted to consume for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus snack times in between!!!! *no joke here*

Jenna recognizes that he is special when she initially sees him!

“The dude is slap-your-momma-bad-to-the-bone-hot -as -sin. Dark, dangerous, and delicious…and then he grins. Of course he does, because he knows I’m snared by his beauty…” ~Jenna

Everything about him appealed to me, from his physical  appearance and swagger down to the way that he cared for and nurtured his family!

Brandon = Hero!!!  Plain and simple. The passionate way that he loved and longed for Jenna from afar in spite of the fact that things frequently got up close and personal only contributed to his appeal.

“She looks like a ray of sunshine, all golden and beautiful in a way that smells of the kind of money I’ll never have. She’s always been the fantasy I shouldn’t have dreamed.” ~Brandon

“Her touch burns a hole in my soul I fear will never be filled.” ~Brandon

“I stand here, and I want so very much to kiss you Jenna.  You know this. You’re my one weakness.” ~Brandon

Have mercy! 😍

I was rooting for them to get together from day one as I turned the pages! My love affair with this couple only strengthened in intensity as I progressed into this book. It got to the point where I was so frustrated that I wanted to strike something with my fist every single time that a hurdle was placed directly into the path of their union!

No lie; at many points in One Wrong Choice I laughed so hard that I had to catch my breath.  The humor in this book is pure genius because it provided comedic relief for the serious,  heart-wrenching moments that occurred in Jenna and Brandon’s love story.  Honestly I literally shed tears as this couple paved their way towards resolving their issues and coming together as one.

I am obligated to mention that the last two lines of this book are EVERYTHING to me!!!! They are some of the most powerful and meaningful lines that I have had the privilege of reading in a romance novel.  The message is comprehensive in nature and staggering when you consider Brandon and Jenna’s journey!

I was overcome!! I teared up….but I LOVED it!! ❤️💜❤️

And that is this Naughty Girl’s final word!

Overall: 4.5/5 SOLID stars!

Heat: 4.5/ 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 for Brandon and the way that he eats his cake!!! 🍰😉

You are cordially invited to witness the union of Jenna and Kenneth…

Isn’t it every woman’s dream to marry the perfect guy?

Mr. Tall, Dark, Rich, and Handsome, the one who waits for me at the altar, is that man.

It’s what my family wants.

For a long time, it was what I thought I wanted, too.

Then I met Brandon, a ruggedly handsome guy with inked up sleeves, who turns my dreams into flames of heat.

What kind of person am I—an engaged woman constantly fantasizing and lusting over her best friend?

When Kenneth is away, Brandon fills all my dangerous desires, even though we haven’t so much as kissed.

I’m torn between doing the right thing, and following my heart.

If I make one wrong choice, I risk losing it all.
