MY REVIEW:

So I just finished Rhenna Morgan’s Eden’s Deliverance and it is official:

This woman is a goddess of epic proportions. One of my favorite authors of all time.

I have been following her “Eden Series” since I haphazardly stumbled on the first book Unexpected Eden via an Amazon recommendation that was delivered to my email account.

I took a chance and one-clicked.  Low and behold: this bookworm has been hooked on her writing ever since.

The concepts surrounding supernatural elements and romance novels have beguiled me since high school so my interest was immediately piqued when I read the blurb for the first book.

Ms. Morgan has managed to create a unique and special combination of the two; an entirely different universe than any that you have experienced before in terms of paranormal romance.

Notably, these books have their own glossary of terms that accompany the books.  That is only a small testament to how different The Eden Series is from most of the other romance novels in the game right now.

Eden’s Deliverance is the fourth and final book in Ms. Morgan’s Eden’s series.  It chronicles the last episode in a tale of love and war.  One where an old enemy fosters an effort to end life as the Myrans (aka the residents of Eden) know it in the pursuit of revenge and the spirit of revolution.

This is a story of a legendary prophecy and how one female has the power to make the events mentioned in said prophecy come to pass.

Brenna, the heroine was enslaved by the leader of the “rebellion.”  Sadly, she has been unbearably victimized and forced to endure unspeakable acts from a monster in order to avoid his wrath and save her own life. 😡

The hero, Ludan Forte is a somo (bodyguard to the King).  This handsome, powerful warrior is a man who is a true force to be reckoned with in the everyday dynamic of the Myran way of life. He is a primal being, an alpha and a true warrior at heart yet he never fails to remain gentle and considerate in his interactions with Brenna.

This is because he has the ability to absorb the memories of others without their prior consent.  As such, he is privy to Brenna’s deepest, darkest secrets and the depths of the pain that she experienced while she was forced into a life servitude filled with unspeakable abuse. 😱

What follows is a truly incredible journey.  It is the the story of two lovers who each bear their own set of scars from their pasts and what it takes to make them eventually acknowledge the fact that they need each other to embark on the road to healing.

It is the story of hope that transcends a world filled with hate.

This story will own a piece of you, just as it captured a piece of me.

My GAWD!

I can not say enough about how wonderful this series is and how deeply it moved me.

Who would not want to live in Eden?  Over the course of four books Ms. Morgan manages to immerse the reader into a veritable paradise.

A world filled with unparalleled plant and animal life and vivid color.

One that truly stimulates the senses.

Everything about Eden will solidify the reader’s desire to believe in the power of Mother Nature, the inherent goodness of the individual spirit when one chooses to side with good over evil and the power of everlasting love.

This utopia is an exclusive dimension; a place where its residents possess the power to fly, heal and foster physic connections with loved ones that allow for telepathic communication via mind reading.

In Eden warriors and royalty alike have the ability to master and manipulate elements like fire, earth, wind and air.

Then there is the concept of otherworldly love.

One that is so strong and pure that it cannot possibly occur on Earth because it is impossible for it exist outside of the bounds of a heavenly kingdom like Eden. 😍

The way these men love their women will make you damn near hit the floor.

Ms. Morgan conveys these passionate, unbreakable connections between the lead characters in a manner that truly sets a precedent. One that will make you wish that you could transport yourself to Eden and find your own hero or heroine to establish a legacy with.

The intensity, the raw lust and sexuality in this series is achingly beautiful.

These men treasure their women.   They place them on a pedestal and cherish them with unwavering loyalty. Their dedication to their partners is at the forefront of their every thought and deed.  The connection that they share with their mates is plain hypnotic and arousing.

It will take your breath away.

The men from Eden own their women in every since of the word.

They make it their business to master the intricacies of their partners’ bodies.

But first and foremost, they pride themselves on their ability to own their hearts. ❤️💞❤️

As I read the last words of Eden’s Deliverance sadness detonated in my chest.

My heart wept a little. 😪

I have yet to encounter a paranormal series that moved me as deeply as this one did.

I was on cloud nine the entire time even though the road to the last page of this book was filled with periods of emotional unrest that had me angry or afraid one minute and then overwhelmed with warm fuzzy feelings or straight up ready to get my groove on in between the sheets the next.

These four couples mean the world to me.

I worried for these characters and rooted for them while they were engaged in battle.

I cheered when these lovers solidified their bonds via Eden’s version of a marriage ceremony.

I gasped because of how Ms. Morgan was able to write such arduous, compelling love scenes that were in no means dirty but no less raw in their intensity and sensual appeal.  😍

Damn!!!

If there was really as a real-life Eden hidden somewhere I would move heaven and earth to get there to find a swoon-worthy warrior of my own!

Do NOT miss out on this spectacular series.

Eden’s Deliverance is a standalone but I highly recommend that you read Unexpected Eden, Healing Eden and Waking Eden (in that order) beforehand to get a full grasp of how amazing and remarkable Rhenna Morgan’s body of work truly is from start to finish.

When it comes to paranormal romance it does not get any better than this!

Read IT!

That’s my final word.

Overall rating for the entire series:  5 Heartbreakingly beautiful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️S!!

EXCERPT:

Warmth and a soft tickle skated along Brenna’s jawline. Lips, the same full, delicious ones she’d craved since Ludan had kissed her, the scruff of his beard leaving the same unforgettable impact as his mouth. His wavy hair slid through her fingers, a weighted silk that teased her forearms. He slanted his mouth across hers and licked inside.

Perfect. The slide of his tongue, his taste, the way he groaned into the kiss and sent perfect trills coursing down her spine. Nothing on earth was better.

He lifted his head. His ice-blue eyes glowed with need and so much passion it resonated in her soul. “This is what you want.”

Odd. It was Ludan’s voice, but her own was superimposed with it. And it wasn’t a question, but a statement.

Candles surrounded them, and a scarlet satin comforter stretched beneath them.

Not real.

“This is what you want,” Ludan said again, ghosting his knuckles along her collarbone and slipping his fingers beneath the neckline of her nightshirt.

Her heart leapt at the touch, his caress only hinting in the direction of her breast, but drawing her nipples to hard points. “Yes.”

He smiled and lowered his gaze, a long lock of hair falling over his forehead. “So beautiful.”

Cool air assaulted her flesh, sending goose bumps along her torso. Her nightshirt was gone, whisked away by her dreams.

Inch by inch, he trailed his fingertips down her sternum, his expression so reverent and caring she was afraid to move.

He cupped one breast, and she arched into the contact, too overwhelmed with the sensation to do anything but close her eyes and surrender to its magic. She tightened her grip on the back of his head, urging him closer. “Ludan, please.” She didn’t know what it was she needed, only that she did, and badly.

“Shhh.” He dipped his head and smoothed his lips along the path his fingers had taken.

More.

Over and over, the word echoed through her head. Nothing else mattered except the feel of him against her. His weight, the warmth of his skin, and the safety of his arms. She closed her eyes and splayed her hands across his wide shoulders. So much strength. Power as rigidly contained as the man. “Ludan.”

One of his big hands cupped her shoulders, and his lips disappeared.

She squeezed her eyes and willed them back. “Ludan, please.”

He spoke again, but this time it was different. Farther away and muffled. “Brenna.”

No.

She rolled her head back and forth on the pillow. No, no, no. She couldn’t lose him. Not again. She hadn’t done anything wrong this time. Had she?

The hand at her shoulder tightened. “Brenna, wake up.”

Heat registered beside her. Not the kind from her dream, but real. Tangible, deliciously masculine heat and muscle.

Her eyes snapped open.

Ludan lay propped on one elbow beside her, the other hand holding her shoulder as she’d felt in her dream. In the daylight, his form was intimidating, but in the night’s shadows, he was downright scary. “You okay?”

Not really. Sweat misted her skin, and her heart jack-rabbited in an out-of-control rhythm. The covers were too heavy, pressing against her tight breasts. She shifted her legs and nearly moaned at the throbbing pulse between them. “I’m fine.”

The comment earned her a sharp frown. He relinquished his hold and leaned back far enough that the bay’s moonlight brought him out of shadow. At some point after she’d fallen asleep, he’d removed his T-shirt, leaving his perfect body on prime display. “You didn’t sound fine.”

She pushed upright and leaned against the headboard, careful to hide her aching nipples with the sheet. Looking at him only made the ache worse. In that moment, she’d give a lot to let her fingers have free rein. “It was just a dream,” she whispered.

He stared at her, then lowered his gaze to her clenched fists in the sheets. “You’re afraid.”

“No.” It came out too fast, and his eyes snapped to hers. “I mean, it was an intense dream, but not something I’m afraid of.”

An odd look flittered across his face, caution or suspicion. “Tell me.”

This is what you want.

Clearly, her subconscious wasn’t in the mood to mess around. And while she’d happily go there in dreams every night, she wasn’t so sure Ludan would appreciate the concept of them together as much as she did. Especially after what had happened last time.

“I…” What could she say? “I’m not sure it’s something you’d want to hear. It was personal.”

His eyes narrowed. “Personal, as in…”

“Personal.” She pulled her knees up and wrapped her arms around them. “It was about the two of us.”

His head snapped back, and his breathing accelerated. He clenched the sheet at his waist, and his nostrils flared. “What about us?”

A strange yet not unpleasant sensation swirled low in her belly, and the pulse between her legs ramped to blistering demand. She could keep the dream to herself. Never say a thing and let it slide.

Or she could take a chance. She licked her lower lip. “We were intimate.”
